What are the delivery details?
Delivery is £6.95 and is booked when you buy your hamper from the website.
Can I put a note inside the hamper?
We have printed cards which can be placed in the hamper free of charge, such as ‘happy birthday’, ‘congratulations’ and many more. Please select this option when checking out. There is also a card with ‘just to say’ as the message if you’d like to write something when you receive the hamper.
Do the products have good sell by dates?
The best before dates vary from product to product but most of them will have 6 months to a year from date of purchase
What courier do you use?
We use UPS, a very reliable courier with a great track record.
Where do you deliver?
Our standard delivery is to UK mainland addresses, please see the UPS website for specific exclusions.
Are all the products local?
Almost! The only products that aren’t from the Westcountry are the Sauce Shop sauces. They are made in the UK and are a small, craft sauce company that started making sauces in their kitchen and selling at the farmers markets! The reason they are allowed into our hampers is because the sauces are incredible! We have supported them since the very beginning and we think they deserve our loyalty.
What happens if I miss my delivery?
UPS will contact you with the preferred contact method you stated when ordering the hamper.
What happens if something goes wrong with the order?
Please contact us as soon as possible and we’re sure we can sort the problem.
Can I make a bespoke hamper?
You can visit our corporate hamper page if you wish to make bespoke hampers but please note the minimum amount for a corporate order is 5 hampers.
Can I change the contents of a hamper?
Due to the fun of VAT, the products in the hampers on the website are set but you can change the flavour of the same product for no extra cost. For example – we can change a strawberry jam for a blackcurrant jam in a hamper – just send us a message and we can sort that for you.
Is VAT included?
Yes. VAT for a hamper is a bit of a head scratcher so specialist advice had to be taken! The VAT for a hamper is classed a ‘mixed supply’ so there is no percentage or VAT bracket that can be attached as standard. That’s why the VAT amount on a hamper is sometimes different to what you might expect. If you require a VAT invoice please let us know and we can email one to you.
If we’ve not been able to address your query here, please drop us a line and we’ll gladly help in any way we can.
